Basically I have a JDM GSR, with a Garrett T3/T04E .60/.63. Car is tuned fairly safe with 11.6ish AFR's at WOT. At roughly 6000rpm, the car starts to "miss". It hesitates, slightly bogs, and missfires. I'm using NGK BKR7E's, gapped to .025. After roughly 6-8 passes at the track, and a week of driving it starts happening, am I killing plugs or, or cold it be somthing else contributing to the problem?

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I can do a pull at 75% throttle, building 11 psi and it doesnt missfire. Soon as I go WOT is when it happens.

 

had that problem with 7's also. i tried bkr6e's on my tune and it runs great.

 

I had a similar misfiring problem twice. The first time it was a loose wire connected to the ignition control module. The second time it happened, I pulled the plugs and #3 cylinder plug was somehow gaped at .30 and the rest where .02, so I put it back to .02 and the car ran perfect.

I'm going to try gapping a bit lower, and see if that helps.

 

Still have the problem. Possibly a weak coil?

 

Try another distributor assembly....

 

Gunna do that tomorrow.
