for the numbers you got with the turbo setup I am sure you could have achieved with a B16 head on it but congrats.

gotcha. Must be a fun street car w/ all that tq. With a good tune and change of some of the parts you could go for more power safely. Jeff Evans said 250-300whp on a stock b20b should be pretty safe. Good luck w/ it and the new setup.

im pretty happy with it..i wouldnt get as much torque with the b20vtec but i have had it in mind.mite turn the boost up later to 10 pounds but its only got 30k miles on it and every gasket and seal is still factory, dont really want to beat the motor to death,it will be nice to put it in my coupe and have a/c with it later on down the road.thanks for all the nice input tho

Never heard of a Turbonetics .42/.48, sounds like an OEM .50 trim Saab/Dodge T3. Do you have pictures of the unit?

For the 2.25" exhaust, stock B20B intake manifold, etc, that's really not bad power at all. You can see how the torque comes up, but between IM and exhaust it gets hard to flow so the torque falls off pretty hard. Not the fastest car in the trailerpark, but damn fine for what it is. I also have a secret fetish for transexual teal cars, shhh, don't tell anybody.

BTW, the B20 sleeves aren't any thinner than the other B-series, they are siamesed and have problems when overheated. You could have pressed to 300 or even a bit beyond, as long as you don't "hot lap" the engine; the consensus from people who love B20 is that they are fine at that level for drag racing, but for roadrace or auto-x where you keep flogging on it and the sleeves don't have a chance to cool then they are weak.

you need to add a dumptube on ur wastegate and route it under the car + upgrade to 3" exhaust. i can see you gaining at least 40whp with your setup on the same boost with this change
