3 Problems with JDM Non-SRS Steering Wheel!!!???
Ok i just got a JDM non-srs steering wheel installed on my R yesterday. There are three problems that i have.
1. The steering wheel is not centered. While my car is going straight the wheel is turned a little to the left. Help me? Can i fix it or should i take it back to the shop that did it?
2. SRS light is on.....Now i knew it would do that but i told them they needed to disable the light. Now can i do it or should i take it back to them?
3. Horn does not work...they said the connectors for the srs and non-srs are different. is there a way i could get the horn to work (ie. Splicing wires?) If so which ones do I connect to which wires?
If anyone can help i would really appreciate it. please tell me how i could solve these problems it really bugs me.
please give me a step through on how to fix each problem if possible thanks alot.

Take it back to the shop and they should be able to fix everything you listed for you...
Otherwise they are incompetent.....

My guess if the car drives straight but the steering wheel is off, they probably just didn't put it on perfectly straight. Just have them pull the wheel off and turn it one tooth. Its really easy to do. As for the light, just pull it yourself. The horn is going to have to be wired directly.
Depending on whether it uses a hub adapter or mounts oem, you might (slight chance) need a steering wheel puller ($16 at most shops) to pop the wheel off, but very rarely is it even needed after the initial removal. On most civics, it's as simple as a 19 mm nut in the center of the wheel.
Once removed, you can pull the wheel up and align the wheel or hub adapter correctly on the steering column(very easy) then reinstall the bolt. With some basic 12 volt knowledge the horn should not be any difficulty, the wires should be tucked inside the hub adapter or wheel, and the srs light on the cluster is a matter or 4-5 phillips head screws. I wouldn't take my R back to someone who can't even take the time to put a steering wheel on correctly.
