Here's a vid from day 2 time trial.

Criticism or comments welcome. I know I was not heel toeing into some corners and should have shifted rather than hit the rev limiter into some corners.

Any recommendation as to why my brakes were good into turn 1 but soft in 3? I am running hawk blues w/powerslots up front and HPs pads in the rear. New brake fluid Valveoline supersyn.

You had a great run, very smooth hands. You said at the gas station you are running the stock b16 tranny? Seems like your b18 is making a bunch more power than my b16a cause I'm not getting into 4th going into the bowl or 5th on the straight (I also have the stock b16a tranny). What steering rack is in your car? Seems like you have a much quicker rack than I do as well, I have the stock one that came in my 91 standard, and I am way busier on the wheel than you.

My footage is here:

Awesome job in the time trials, a 1:22 is smokin' fast! Are you going to the August event?

Its a CRX SI rack. I wasn't getting onto 5th on the straight. I was between 100-105 before braking at marker #2. Watching your vid shows me where i was braking too early. Also you were in second coming out of the bowl and turn 12.

You were smooth through out the course. Being smooth is very important. Shows me you are not over driving. Speed comes with time. If this was your first time on that course pat yourself on the back. Seat time,an open mind, and picking experienced drivers brains will help alot.

There are some parts where you should of downshifted sooner. The rev limiting is never a good thing. Better to go up one and quickly back down than to cause something to quit on you. Your exits from the turns will get better with time as well learning where you can run with a open throttle vs coasting. Keep up the hard work.

Yeah I don't know what I was thinking when I thought you were in 5th on the front straight hehe. My DAQ was showing about 103-104 into 1 although the display lags a bit behind, so I won't tell for sure until I download the data onto my laptop. I am not sure if 2nd is doing me favors in 11b or not, but I tried third a bunch in the open track and kept missing my braking points, but I don't know if that was due to the sprinkles getting the track damp or not; I have to review my data logs and see what's best. The bowl definitely needs second as I just don't have the torque to accelerate up the hill in third. In my STI it was a tossup between 3rd and 4th going out of the bowl, but I used 3rd even though I had a ton of torque as it wound up being a tad quicker.

I'm going to stiffen the rear end next event, as my sway bar is set on full soft, and see what happens. The car rotates pretty well, but I still think it pushes too much. This is the first event where the car didn't break, so I finally got some clean laps to figure out the handling. I haven't really changed any settings in 2 years (full stiff on rear konis and about halfway on the fronts) other than alignment. I think I can catch Mick in the E30M3, but I need to find a second to do it.
