I have a problem. My cousin and i install a turbo kit on a single cam.. We are having a problem the car doesnt go pass 5000 rpm.. When it gets to 5k it seem to like misfire and if it missing fuel.. dont know what it could be. have a Walb.255 fuel pump and also did the check valve for the map sensor. Also got a jackson racing fmu. but dont know we stuck.. Please help me out

 

is the check valve installed correctly?
there are many things that can be wrong.

where is the boost at 5k? is the cel on?
are you getting a cel when it hits boost?

 

yea the cel is on... yea the valve installed correctly i had a buddy of mine check that for me. but he couldnt stay long to get it running right so i need help

 

with the cel on, more than likely it is in limp mode. get the code out of it and go from there. if you are goin full throttle with the cel on, man that engine isnt long for this world.

 

not going full throttle.. i ease into it but no matter what i do it dont pass 5k

 

Sounds like the ecu is in Limp mode like boostedcivicsir said. Do you have another ecu u can try? Also get that code figured out too that might help.

 

yea i have another cpu but the other is for a vtec and i dont have vtec on there now.. so idk if i can use that???
