Switching Injectors!
Hey guys I have 450cc dsm injecctors with resistor box right now, and i get fuel cut 1st and 2nd gear injectors are maxed out. I just ordered precision turbo injectors 880cc Low Impedance for a b18b1 with clips, Im not planning on going over 550hp in the future. But now I'm wondering is will those dsm clips still work on the b18 injectors? I didnt know thats why i got the clips, now if they dont fit how would i wire the b18 ones up? just test one of the wires on the injectors to see which is hot?
heres my build:
Eagle rods
JE pistons(9:1)
Port and polished head
Feera valves
Crowler cams(409)
skunk2 cam gears
Crowler retainers
Crowler springs
edelbrock X intake manifold
AEM fuel rail
AEM fuel regulator
Block guard
T70 turbo ( i know its huge)
3"downpipe&exhaust
tial38mm wastegate
Walboro 255lph HP fuel pump
ARP head stud
omin 3 bar

usually the wire on the passenger side/left side (looking at the injector clip standing at the front of the car) is the +12v switch circuit and is a yellow wire with a black stripe and is common among the 4 injectors. The other wires are solid without stripes they should be blue, red, brown and yellow those go to the ECU and completes the injector circuit to control the fire pattern. Just look at any wiring diagram for your specific vehicle and you can trace the pinout for injector #1,#2,#3,#4 and they will correspond to the specific color specified above and the other wire is just the common +12v which is the yellow/black wire that goes to the passenger side of the injector clip, and this is the same for each and every clip.
so basically just test which wire has 12v right?
