98 turbo accord problems
i have a 98 accord 2.3 vtech turbo with msd but thay did nuthing else to it when u start driving it bogs out like it not getting anuf fuel any sugestions may be the stock injectors r to small ?????????????????????????????????????????????????
If you could please provide more info that'd be helpful.
What psi?
What mods exactly? (You can't JUST have a turbo slapped on there)
Tuned?
If you are running stock injectors even on low psi than yes, fuel delievery could be a problem. Not to say it can't be done but its definitely recommended you run at least DSM injectors (440cc I believe?).
It of course could be a few other things, but I'll wait until you provide more info.

i dont no i just picked it up all ready like this and iam trying to figer out why its bogen out like this it looks like the only thing dun to it is med and a turbo kit
Make sure you are running some kind of fuel management and enough fuel to support the turbo.
You should probably bring it in to someone that knows about turbos like a performance shop or even just a mechanic. Driven like that you will most likely damage your motor and break down.

mine did the same till i got it dyno tuned. I highly recommend to check everything out leaks, oil lines, fittings, clamps, also pull injectors out see if they are oem or aftermarket. I run 550 in mine and its plenty on a stock block @ 10 lbs. Try to see if the car has another computer in it AEM.
you may find more guys are willing to give you usefull info if you post clearly.
i agree with technine and accord99power. you've got to get it to a local mechanic with honda and/or turbo experience, or a local tune shop. it's possible you already have burt valves or other internal damage. the sooner you can get it checked out and fixed, the longer the motor is going to last you and the more fun it will be to drive!!

Who put on this turbo and did you do any research?
Follow the advice above and take it to a shop that works on cars with aftermarket forced induction. Show it to them and they should be able to tell you what you have at least.
no i dident do and research i got the car dirt cheap and its in mint condition besides this prob and no iam not driveng it so i dont have to worie about messing it up anymore it picked ut up to resell
you can't install a turbo kit and "do nothing else with it". the ECU is seeing boost and going into limp mode.
You need to buy some sort of engine management and have it tuned properly.

thats what iam thinking it a ebay deal i think iam just gona rip it all out bec cuz the car is mint nice kit not over dun nice 18s on it pust painted black with blue pirl mint interior do u think i should just pull it out
I would find out exactly what is installed before taking the time to remove it. It may be worth something or may be worth the time to get a good ECU and tune it.
the car looks just like the pic of the accord99 power the same frontend and it just got painted its realy nice thats why i think ill just rip it all out and start over
it realy seams like the car is starven for fuel it runs great starts right up runs good at low speeds but when u getr on it it just bogs down then u can push the clutch in and it will stop bogen it got msd and u can adjust in in the car so iv been playen with that
you can't just toss big injectors in it without changing or tuning the ECU to compensate for the injectors. you won't even be able to idle the car with 550cc injectors installed.
I do believe he is talking about the "MSD Boost Retard" controller with the little black ****.. Sounds to me like its a Turbonetics setup.. TAKE THE CAR TO THE SHOP, YOU WONT BE ABLE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM WITHOUT THE PROPER KNOWLEDGE. Seriously
ya iam about to after the holiday it sucks bec iam in the middle of a turbo build in my 91 civic hatch and i just dumped about 3 grand in that motor but thats what u get buyen some one else problems lol
