window on my 99 civic coupe wont roll up all the way. when it gets to the top it clicks clicks and clicks. Is this sign of a bad motor? THANKS

 

just wondering if u have auto window roll up/down module.
meaning if u arm you alarm does the window roll up upon arming.
if u have one touch roll down and up on both window.
if u do remove the module. it's crapping out on you.

or is the clicking sound meaning the gears are stripping out on your regulator or motor

 

Have the same problem. The hinge point on the regulator where it scissors becomes loose and the teeth from the reg tend to come away from the teeth on the motor. Will go up and down just fine but wont close the last 1.5 inches or so cuz the teeth arent intermeshed properly. Buy a another reg from a junkyard/dealer/someone on here. Tried to fix it last night with a big fail at the end...lol

 

This is just happening to the driverside. There is auto down, no auto up. thanks for the responses

 

just an update. i finally got the problem fixed. turned out to be the regulator with worn teeth.
