My friend's 97 Civic EX's driver side window is messed up. It goes down ok, but when he tries to put it back up all the way, it will not close all the way. When it gets near to going up all the way, the window will begin to jerk up and down really fast and make loud popping noises, and will not close all the way. He has to manually push up the window to close it. Any suggestions? Thanks

i had the same exact problem when i bought my car... its the teeth on the window motor are chipped so the window keeps tripping over the teeth and wont catch on... you have to get a new window motor its an easy fix at any auto glass shop but it would be even easier and cheaper if u got your own motor and then go to the shop to throw it on
