i just swap a b16a2 in my integra the car started the first time but after i plugged in the alternator plug in car wont start? what can be the problem i search everywhere cant find no post about it

 

make sure you have all your grounds connected especialy the ground that goes on the tranny!

 

y u would put a b16 in an integra is beyond me unless ur usin just the head or tranny. Like he said grounds, connections, are u getting power from the battery? Check to make sure its not a bad alternator.

 

Try jumpstarting it

 

it start then after i cut it off it wont start after

 

Drive it around and let the alternator charge the battery. Then take it home, turn it off, and try to start it again. If the battery's really old, it may not hold a charge. If you rule out the battery as the source of your problem, you can take the alternator to auto zone and have them test it.

 

it could be the alternator but i just got it started let it warm up for a long time drove it around the block still wont start back up
