Icon2 Can 90-91 crx amber corner lights be retrofitted to a 88-89 crx?

hello, i have a 88 crx, and i have been wanting to get replacment corner lights, the jdm amber ones, password jdm makes a badass set but for only the 90-91 crx, i know that the diffrence between the two years is the set of screws on the 88 corner, is it possible to install them, with out worring that they will fly off?

I think if I'm correct, just get the clips for the 90/91 cars the lights slide in the clips then have a single screw that hold the light in on top. At least thats the way I remember the difference's in them I've never really looked at any 88/89's to see if the screw hole was there. If I'm wrong some one else chime in and explain.

I think you'd have to swap the headlight buckets also... but I wanna say it's possible.

sure anything is possible. You could also just swap the whole front end because the 90/91 looks alot better.

Ive got a 90 headlight on my 89 crx. I had to shave off some of the plastic on the cornerlight and had to remove a metal bracket on the headlamp. It works but its a little loose. But not trashy loose, like hanging off, its just alittle looser than the other side. (89 lamp on one side 90 on other...)

in order to do this you will need the 90-91 headlight brackets because the 90-91 style corners have a tab that screws onto the bracket it self. but if you dont wanna swap brackets im pretty sure you can zip tie the corner light on. and you will also need the clips that are on the fenders for the corners to sit flush.
