how to wire a obd1 gsr into a 00 SI
picked up a 95 gsr for my SI and i need help on the wiring in the motor for the car, whats the easiest and or best way to do so!! any input is appreciated, thanks!!
Do you got the OBD1 ECU? If so, use that and get an OBD2b to OBD1 conversion harness (assuming you can get away with that in your area). That's going to be the easiest way to go.
Other than that, you'll have to run 2 wires for the IABs. On the OBD2 gsrs, you run ground to the ECU and power from any 12 volt source, but *I think* that on an OBD1 gsr, you run power from the ECU and then ground to any ground. I could be wrong about that.
You also may have to swap the dizzy plugs. IDK, I've never seen an OBD1 myself.

also heard i might have to bypass the ckps any truth to that anyone? or would i only have to do that if i wasn't gonna use a jumper harness?
