Default F22b2 to f22b1 conversion - ecu?

do you need a new ECU if you put an f22b2 engine in a f22b1 car? Both are 5-spd

Yes you need the ECU for the F22B2 SOHC Non VTEC 5sp, IIRC it's a P0B

Do you want or not want Vtec?

You need the b1 ecu.

You'll still have to wire up vtec and pressure switch along with the F22B1 ECU(VTEC) in a Non Vtec Model car.

In that case, you will require the P0A Ex (EX-R) 5spd VTEC ECU and wire the appropriate wires for VTEC.

Have you tried one of the many online classified sites. Ebay, Kijiji, Craigslist or even your local junk yard? There may even be one in the classifieds thread here on H-T.

What year and transmission do you require the P0A for? I have a 94-95 P0A A51 here that I might be persuaded to let go for a reasonable price.

PM me an offer if you're interested.

What tune are you using? Who did your head work and would you happen to have any pics of the port work?

Don't bother with the H head swap unless you are planning on boosting your build or doing internal work to upgrade the compression and balance the difference of the bore of the two engine parts.

I have a 1995 Auto EX VTEC ecu. I think it might work, but throw an engine code. I'll sell it for cheap
