I have a 94 cx hatch with a jdm b16. My question is, it appears to have no 5th gear. Its weird cuz you can shift into it, but when you let the clutch out, its like a neutral. It does make a faint grinding noise, as if it wasn't all the way into gear. I bought the car this way, so I don't know the history.↲
Could the linkage keep it from going completely into 5th? Any help would be appreciated. Or could 5th be gone somehow.

 

thats what my transmission sounded like when i had no third gear, you'd hear a slight grind and basically felt like it was in neutral

 

Ha, i'd rather have no 3rd then no 5th. Anybody know if my gear is missing?
