HELP! MINI-ME OBD0 OBD1 questions!
I'm helping out a friend with his mini me swap into an 89 dx hatch. I hooked up the injectors and did the dizzy wiring. And the car starts and idles fine. The problem is that it won't rev over 2,500 rpm. It just goes up and bogs. He's using a PR3 ecu so we didn't do the whole OBD1 change over. Is the ECU the problem or wheere can I start looking?
Also getting CEL codes...(4 - CKP Sensor) and (21 - Vtec not hooked up)
I checked the code 4 and all the wiring is good the blu/yel wire is wired to C2 on the ECU and the Blu/Grn or Lght Blue is to C1
Thanks for any help.

You will have to complete the OBD-1 swap or pick up a pr3 distrbutor to run. Also what injectors are ou running? The OBD-1 injectors don't use the resistor box, but the OBD-0 ones do. It doesn't matter which you use, just make sure you have the box with the correct injectors.

if you have a D16Z6 head, there are no OBD0 MPFI distributors that will bolt right onto the head - the PR3 is also going to be looking for a knock sensor which you don't have - the PR3 is not a good ECU to run the SOHC engine unless you get it chipped - just get a P28 ECU and an OBD0 to OBD1 ECU jumper harness - you will also need to use a 4-wire O2 sensor
the code 4 for the crank sensor has nothing to do with the blue/green and blue/yellow wires - those wires are for the CYLinder sensor - the wires for the crank sensor are orange and thin white
