I looked the new Jackson Supercharger catalog today when it came in the mail...i want the whoel setup for my d16z6. Any comments or suggestiosn, advice on it....oh yeah it says ill only have like 146 after this? thats odd to me

 

That sounds about right! You have 125 hp stock at the crank. The JRSC should be 40% more then stock so that makes 175hp. If you do the conversion to wheel hp it comes out to around 150 or so. Correct me if I am wrong!

 

yeah in the catalog it says SOHC vtec has 95.9 at the wheels..thats rough its quick kindof i suppose but thats too little of HP for me..i went from camaro to this.

is the boost upgrade good and alt he fuel upgrades they sell. the whoel setup soudns awesome, but i dunno if i shoudl do turbo or a swap instead althoguh id liek a very fast SOHC

 

u dont have to get all the stuff put on like JR says u need..the 6lb boost kit comes with the blower, fuel regulator..but be sure to get new plugs they recommend..the secret of good performance cuz u can actually lose power if u mess up the install..the blower is made to run with OEM honda parts so u really dont need any other mods cept an intake if u dont already have one..headers arent necessary but a custom 2 1/4 inch cat back would be nice though..its nice to have boost thru out the entire rpm range

 

since u dont live in calif..id consider the 8lb boost kit..it includes the pulley, plugs, fuel pump, all the stuff u want d to get earlier..dont get the JR intercooler though..the guys that did my install said they were crap
