I got a90 civic with a 1.5 it cranks but doesn't start. When u crank it the intake backfires. Compression is 150 across the board and I have spark and fuel. Timing is good! Help please! No cel either

 

you may have jumped a tooth on timing, check your t-belt for any missing teeth, also make sure your spark plug wires are in the right order...wouldnt hurt to check your cap an rotor either, good luck

 

Check to see if your dizzy is 180* out of phase? Also have you double checked your spark plug wires for correct order? Double check camshaft timing... also try to move the dizzy back and forth while cranking to get her to fire. Sounds like timing is off or the dizzy is not in the proper place for base timing.

 

ended up being a loose set screw in the dizzy's rotor....
