Default is this block reuseable?

so i picked up a gsr block from a friend and the walls looks all rusted from being left outside for long time. can i use it? is there a way to clean it with like wd40 or break cleaner?

Light rust is no big deal, just have it honed. If its bad, you can alway have it bored
.010" or .25mm over and get new overbored pistons and rings.

it looks light rust.. but if i bore my block do they have to take the pistons out? you guys know how much it would cost me. its only rust about 2 and half inch from the top.

if you have the money send it to the machine shop and have them clean it up for you

Have it honed and hot tanked.. shouldn't cost too much at any given machine shop.

Why would he leave it outside? Unless it's blown....
