I recently bought a sunpro mechanical water temp gauge and can't figure out how to install it. By the way i have a 89 crx si. It says to replace my coolant temp sensor but won't that mess up my cooling fans and stuff? Please help i'm confused.

 

all i did was install a tee with barb fittings into the coolant line that goes to my throttle body, i had an electric autometer gauge. install was a peice of cake, i think i used a tee, a barb fitting and a 90deg barb fitting, plus some hose clamps.
