do i need a fuel pressure gauge?
first off let me tell you what mods i have.
jdm sirII b16A
S2 pro series IM
STR 68mm TB
earls plumbing/in-line fuel filter
CTR intake and exhaust cam
evolution cam gears(pre-adj 2* advanced on intake and 2* retarded on exhaust)
DC 4-1 SS header
B&M FPR (i have never messed with it)
2.5in intake w/3in BLOX velocity stack
now my problem is when i decide to get on my car and it hits vtec, you can hear it hit from 4900-5200 but then it starts to sputter as if it's leaning out or not enough pressure or something.
so i have checked connections, grounds, loose wires, NO CODES, car is OBDO for the moment w/pw0 ECU(injectors and resistor box), and everything seems fine.
should i get a fuel pressure gauge and try to compensate for the added air due to the mods or have i maybe over looked something????? also would the cam gears not timed right have anything to do with this??? i believe they are set perfectly but i guess you never know.
any info i would greatly appreciate.

If you get a fuel pressure guage you want the one for testing fuel pressure. Screw it into the fuel rail or line and tape it onto your windshield. When you take it for a drive and open it up, your fuel pressure should jump up and not fall off. If it does, you have fuel issues.
That being said, you don't mention using any tuning system like Hondata, Crome, Neptune etc. Without a proper system, properly tuned, you're lucky it runs a all.
