Default how can i tell if my instrument bulb is burnt?

sorry very noob question?
but how can i tell?
and could a burnt bulb be the reason why my cool temp gauge doesnt work?

if my cool temp gauge looks like this on my cluster, does this mean my cluster is bad?

thanks in advance.

you should check your ECT sensor, it may be bad.

The bulb that lights the rear display being out would not affect your coolant temp reading. It could be a bad sensor here or there, search for specifics. when you turn the car on (not start), you should see all the Warning Lights illuminate.
