slow power issue?
Alright, so when the car is warm enough for vtec to engage, but not fully warmed up, car runs like a dream.
BTW its a rebuilt stock GSR. about 15kish on it.
But when it's fully warmed up, and I give it partial throttle, it'll run good, but as soon as I floor it, it slows down, loses power.
Mods.
Intake
Walbro fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator
fuel gauge
aem fuel rail
Do you think my motor is just detonating and retarding itself? so maybe I should go with colder spark plugs or colder thermostat?
My fuel pressure is at 40-45 idle and about 60 wot.

Why so many fuel mods on an almost entirely stock engine? My guess is it's running horridly rich which is what's killing you. You need to get an A/F gauge on there to see what ratio's you're running. If you had those mods when you did the rebuild, you may have washed your rings out, so you may not be getting great compression either.
How long have you had this problem? Has it gotten worse over time? How does RPM affect it? First check all of your wires with a new plug. If they're all good, check the engine temperature when it's running well and when it's not. Post specific temps and their tested locations.
You should also be running about 50psi for off vacuum fuel pressure as a rough estimate. Stock R is 52 psi, stock GS-R is about 44 psi
with regulator vacuum hose off
FP stock
B18B 40-47 psi
B18C1 48-55 psi
So on a GSR with the vacuum hose back on which drops the FP by about 5-7 psi, 44 psi with the hose connected FOR A GSR is fine.
I think you have to much fuel. Why do have all those fuel mods?

The thing is, these are parts that were laying around my uncles garage and off of his car since he went into army training. And I built this car from the shell up pretty much.
I had the fuel pump, then I needed a guage and a regulator, So I swapped mines with the one on his car to see where my fuel pressure was at.
I recently did the spark plug gaskets because oil was getting through the spark plug hole. I just checked my spark plug and theres more oil in there. The car does burn oil at high rpms. The compression is between 190 and 220 all the way across. The Fuel Pressure is at 45-55. I retarded my ignition timing a bit and I guess it help it out. I could've sworn I timed the ignition timing right.
I'm looking towards a turbo in the future, so these mods are fine, it doesn't hurt to have them.
