do i have to run a chipped p28 or could i run it stock?

 

im getting a p28 for my gsr and i was told i had to chip it.

 

If your motors stock then run a stock GSR ecu. If it has worked get the ECU chipped and tuned.

dam it my cel keeps going off for ks im tired of it i was going to go with a p28 my car is completley stock besides the cai

 

Get it chipped.

 

X2 get it chipped, or buy one that is already chipped.

 

Why not just replace the knock sensor?

 

i already did twice and its the same i found some dude in la that going to chipp mine for cheap hes is going to eliminate the ks and change my vtec xover for 60 im going for a drive right now. ill take that back im just going to chip it my self been doing some research it dont look hard. i just desoldered the p28 and orerded a chip from phearable.net we'll see what happends
