cel help
so i just finished swaping my engine in my ls with a gsr and i got a cel it blinks one like if it was a ten so im not sure if its a one or a ten i had no cel before on either car the gsr or the las before the swap any help would be appreciated thanks
If its CEL #1, its the o2 sensor. If its CEL #10 its the IAT sensor, but either one there are easily to replace. But IMO think its the o2 sensor cause, its one of the first sensors to go.
if i rember right on my ef when i switch from ls to my b16 i had to switch the o2 wire at the ecu would i hav eto do this in this one since i went from non v to vtec?

I had this happen to me, one of the pins on the plug came out when I plugged it in, if not try using another o2 sensor, if you have another lying around and have you tried replacing the iat sensor?
so i think i figuered out my problem no tsure though havent tried it i think i hooked up the wrong connector since on the ls the iat is more towards the fpr and on the gsr it more by tb im sure thats it ill do it as soon as i get off work
KS = Knock sensor? Your car could be knocking, but i dont think so, the knock sensor is pretty weak and can break very easily. I have broken 5 different knock sensors when changing intake manifold, or swapping motors. If not broken check the wire and the plug, oil can deteriorate insulation or cause it to have a bad connection.
ok so i think i found my problem i went to unplug the ks to check the voltage and the ks was loose i guess i forgot to tighten it when i swaped it out.silly me
cel still on and some more problems this is the worst honda ive had. my MC started leaking bad my abs is not working right something to due with gas pressure. my car started to sputter around 5k-6k and running slugish,somewhat of a misfire while driving leaking oil from around the vtec area the idle started to surge and my ks still giving me a prob.all this **** over night you gotta be f******g kidding car ran motor ran beutiful before i pulled it out this weekend from my dc2 no il leaks what so ever since the rebuild no cel nada wtf is going on someone please help i left dms to go back to honda for these reasons.imma go rewire it see if that help make sure if ks is tight add some locktite to be sure try to fix the oil leak and look at my plugs

i fixed the leak it was the bolt in front above the ex mani, changed the plugs old ones were new but just to be sure. im just going to sell my p72 and buy me p28 since i just bought a skunk2 mani for 75 right now
so the manifold wasnt for a gsr and i cant seem to find a chipped p28 so i need to get this fixed do you know what is the voltage i should have at the ks connector. oh yea of the subject you know how to tel the diffrence between non folding mirrors and folding
I believe to tell is it would have more wires than a normal power mirrors, but unsure. Did you try to raplace the KS?
