is there any performance gains by switching to a gsr TB over a b16a TB?

The gain is not worth the time really... You get a 2 mm approvement but your going to have to take the rotor and spring off the B16 TB for the GSR TB to work.

It would be better if you send out the GSR TB to get bored and then it would be worth it...

Thats just me, good luck though...

For the price of boring you are damn close to the price of a new tb. Then you can get it at a lot bigger bore.

Is your car stock? Do you have bolt ons? Is it completely built?
Are you able to tune it?
This changes would generally tell us if you car would benefit from a larger TB.
Take a look in the market place. Sometimes you can use TB’s and even bore TB’s for sale.

Unless it's a first gen. b16. Those have 58mm throttle bodies. Every other b-series is the same except for the type-r, of course.
