thanks guys for answering my brake question yesterday!...now a question about pads...
so i need new pads (and maybe rotors...or at lest a fresh machining) should i get honda parts at the dealership or just go to a speedy or midas or wherever is cheapest? is there a big difference or are pads pads? (keeping in mind that im not too interested in high performance at this point)
thanks
Andrew
thanks

if u are not interested too much in performance, go to any auto parts and buy the lifetime warranty pads....... they should work fine with u......
i stay away from places like autozone. checker, pep boys. IMO, they sell complete ****. as to pads, i did buy a set from autozone ONCE, within 2 weeks, my rotors were warped. come to find out, those crapy *** pads that cost $20 have 3 times the metal consistancy of normal pads, hence why they last longer, but they are ALOT harder on your rotors. i have since bought some brembo rotors and using factory honda pads for over 6 months, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL, and the braking performance is ALOT better. i say buy factory honda pads, they are DEFINETELY worth the extra $25.
bought raybrakes pads at pep boys for my dad's accord 1 1/2 years no problems.
