Default K Series Clutch Case Swap

Finally getting started on my swap and when going to install the LSD realized that the motor mount holes on the clutch case were broken and that the threads were all jacked up. Can I order a new clutch case and just swap the internals over and use new bearings? Or will I have to disassemble the entire trans and re-shim everything?

Here are some pics...

The correct way to go about making a change like this (case or mainshaft swap) is to check the mainshaft and differential bearing clearances. If you have a HELMS manual, you should be fine. It's only a bit extra work. And you'll need to disassemble everything for the most part to do the LSD anyhow. :p

Good luck, man!
