1989 Silver CRX SI $1800 in Raleigh, NC!!!
1989 CRX Si for sale (all stock) $1800 (was listed at $2000)----
I will accept any offer over $1800!!!!!! I also have a CLEAN CARFAX as of last week(8/5/2002)!
VIN:#JHMED9367KS005460
I have a 1989 Silver CRX SI for sale. It's a 5-speed 1.6L engine with a Sony detachable CD player, sunroof, and tinted windows. I also added the clear corner lights upfront. The Gray/Black interior is very clean with no rips in the seats or cracks in the dash. It has 169k miles on it and runs great. I used it for my commuter car for over a year and half. I had bought it with 139k miles on it and only had to replaced the battery, alternator, tires, and clean the fuel injection. The previous owner had changed the timing belt prior to me buying it. Over the last year, I had recently replaced the front brake pads, muffler and of course getting the routine oil changes. I also had the seatbelts and buckles replaced by Honda (there's a lifetime factory recall on all seatbelts on early Hondas) I had the driver window replaced over a year ago because someone broke into it and stole my amps and subwoofers. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head though that was done to it...
Condition:
The body/paint is in great shape. The sunroof works great! It has the normal sand knicks upfront for a 13 year old car and a couple of door dings from inconsiderate people. It does have a minor dent in the rear right quarter panel from a minor rearend bumper incident (it is shown in the pics). Dent wizard said that they can pull the dent in the qurter panel out. Also if you plan on adding a body kit, it will be easy to fix up! I think there is a small tear on the driver's door from the seat belt. It has the OEM rear cargo cover and the rear storeage compartment is all in tact. It has the original floormats too!
Mechanically the engine is very strong and so is the clutch/transmission. There are no oil or water leaks since I bought it and have all the receipts for everything done since owning it. The brakes stop and work fine, except for air in the brake lines or a bad master cylinder that cause the brake pedal to go to the firewall when sitting stopped. It has AC but since I bought it, it has never blew COLD air (it may need recharging) The heater works great! The rear hatch struts need to be replaced because they are worn and are not strong enough to hold the cargo hatch up.
I can't think of anything else wrong with this car, except it's taking up space on my driveway. I'm selling because I am expecting my first born and had just bought a Lexus SUV.
I live in the Raleigh, NC area and I will not be responsible for shipping the vehicle. (All shipping arrangements should be made by the buyer)

and YOU try to REPLY to them..... maybe a glitch in the javascript...or that's how the moderator wants to keep the posts updated.... who knows?
Also when it sells, I'll no longer post it. But hey, thanks for your concern...

I'm getting ALOT of bites out there but nobody wants to pull the trigger.... either that or they are too far away (i.e. CA/OK, etc) and shipping is an issue... I'd like to get rid of it THIS week because I'm going on vacation for 9 days and would love to have extra spending $$$ to blow on the wife.... er, ---to blow me ;-D
i'd consider driving down to see the car, but that big dent in the passenger side is what really told me not to bother
. maybe you should try and pop it out and retake some pics?

I don't have the time nor do I want to spend more $ into it knowing that SOMEONE else will be getting this at a great deal. I thought of adding a body kit and fixing the dent, but I have 4 other vehicles and a baby coming soon. I'd rather displace my $ towards the baby and not worry about the car. Again I'm letting it go considerably lower than most CRX si's and the car looks great inside and out despite the rear quarter & it runs great with no leaks what so ever. So people, please email me (biaggi@iwon.com) if you are interested and I'll entertain any reasonable offers.....
I may be interested however shipping is an issue. If you could go down to 1500 and I pay for shipping, we might have something, otherwise, i can't do it.
Why dont you get the brakes system fixed by someone legit... Like Premium imports in raleigh (2000 Wakeforest Road) Then sell your car for 2000?
If anyone is interested (that I haven't responded to), please email me (biaggi@iwon.com) and I will reply when I get back from out of town on the 9/8/02. I will be offline until then....
Thanks,
