Default A/c problems

MyAC is acting up. Sometimes it turns on fine, and then just kicks out whenever it wants. It is cold when it is on. You can hear the compressor kicking in when it does turn on, and when it turns off you can tell that it is off. I'm thinking its something electrical thats messed up. Any ideas? thanks guys

Yea I hear that. Just moved down from Mich to Houston for the summer. Never knew how important the AC was until now.

What car?

My EG has a short in the wiring above the ecu. The A/C will just turn off whenever it wants.

Next time it turns off, hit the glove box area (and the wires underneath it) and see if it comes back on.
It's the wiring right near the plug to check your CEL.
