okay so i had a blown engine swapped it out now for a d16y7 money problems till i can get back anyways the sensor on the transmisson back got ****ed up only have 1 of the three inputs in anyways when i start the car its fine but the tach says im at 4k idle which im not and then when i press the gas it bogggs out what can be wrong i got the engine from a HAP in sac and i dont think its the engine just need some help so once again the tach says im at 4k idle and im not and the car boggs out at idle no check engine light and the sensor on the tramssiom is missin 2 of the three but the two dont go back to the ecu they go to two other senors that have no use in my car thanks

just because those 2 wires didnt lead to the ecu doesnt mean their not needed.

well it could also have to do with what engine you had previously,

im no tech specialist but some thing fit during the swap... some dont..

 

I would fix the problems you know you have. That sensor is the VSS and and converts the signal to your speed. The RPM signal comes from the distributor. I'm thinkin the distributor might be bad. Try swapping it for a known good one.
