I'm just finishing up my rebuild on my car and had everything installed, my new speakers and cd player were working fine, dash was fine. Though now, they are getting no power whatsoever, even my clock isn't getting power. I checked the fuses underdash, but I could not find any blown ones. So what could be causing this problem? Thanks!

 

Have you gone back over your wiring?

My guess, is that it could be a short?

 

With the wiring that I did, I soldered everything, heat shrunk it, taped the ends of the heat shrink, and then I put it in a loom.

 

Sounds like the back up fuse under the hood.

 

Checked the fuses under the hood and they look good. The car will still fire up and run, but no gauges or radio.

 

Anyone have any other ideas as to what it could be?

 

make sure the dash harrness are all the way in
