Default Mitsubishi EVO manifold

Made this for an evo 4 so thought I'd share. Still got some more pictures of it fully completed.

Trial fitted before final welding.

Thanks for looking!

The Head flange was designed for use with 1.5" sch10 pipes but this is too big for the stock turbo and as a stock/slight upgrade replacement so it was stepped down to 1 1/4" sch10 piping.

The manifold is for an EVO 4 but this will fit EVO 4 5 6 7 8 and I think 9.

I'll get some pics of the car but it's a bit filthy at the moment.

Thanks for the comments.

your welds look very inconsistent, i almost think this is due to you walking the cup or so it looks. why would you choose this welding style over a lay wire or standard dabbing style?

the final weld width is almost double the root pass?

Yes my welds could be better as I'm in a bit of hurry as I've got a few of these to produce. I feel walking the cup 'feels' like a stronger weld. It's just what I prefer when doing turbo manifolds. When I make N/A headers I use the standard dabbing style.

Why are the ports on your manifold's turbine flange shaped like that?

they cannot match up very well to a stock evo turbo.

I didn't make the flange. It's something that needs to be change imo too.
