Default ??Bad water pump sounds like???

I think my water pump died on me. Well I hope it's the water pump, the sound is coming from somewhere around there.

What does a bad water pump sound like on a 92 SI 1.6L SOHC?

bad water pump sounds like leaking antifreeze, and overheating.

Bump. Can a bad water pump lead to coolant evaporation, if none is burned in the CC and is leaking from nowhere; intermittent overheating?

could be a small leak in the weep hole, that or your radiator has a hairline that's causing the leak but is evaporating off

You mean a 96-00 water pump will squirt water out if they're bad? Where would it go, if it's inside the timing cover?

I never thought about the radiator having a crack, but that might explain why the top of the radiator is dry, and it only takes like 1/8 a gallon to fill it back up. Either that or the water pump is doing nothing and coolant just sits in the bottom of the radiator/engine block lol.
