Hey all,
its a 99 accord 4 cyl just in case you need to know....
I am in the middle of putting the ingalls Smart Arm Rear Camber kit in and i can get one out two on each side out but here's the problem (for those of you DIYer's out there that have done this)....
The toe rod on one side and the lower camber arm on the other both nuts are off but on the side that attaches to the frame the bolt is just effed. it will neither budge or move, i've stripped it out trying to turn it both with a air gun and by hand, and have tried hammering it out a little bit and neither work....
any ideas on how to get that out so i can remove the arm and replace it? (ill get new bolts from honda for reattachment).....
also i am having a little difficulty hammering in the side that attaches to the knuckle on the lower arm (adjusts camber) any ideas on that too?
any help is greatly appreciated!

well i'm in the rear, (which is by the gas tank) and i took a closer look at it and tried to throw a little heat on it, and i am WAY too close to the gas tank, but even after giving it a shot (with a hammer, propane torch, and a little too much beer) it just wouldn't budge at all....
i hammered the **** outta that thing too! theres gotta be another way to do this... HELP!

so i just realized it was you whats up bud? yeah got the tranny done and all and everything else, but this is the one thing that is left underneath the rest is easy stuff and this is just frustrating the hell outta me, i think your talking about the strut fork but either way its the same issue, its so dang frustrating, and i am almost done too! its just get those off....
thanks for the replies though ill have to let you know what works for me! i wanna get to a track soon!

A hand chisel and hammer don't do much with these hardened bolts. Your best bet is a small high speed angle grinder, second to that is get a good drill bit to take the head of the bolt off.
I didn't have this problem putting my rear Ingall's camber kit in. But I did to in 7 years ago. Before removing any suspension or under body bolts I'd advice a good soaking with PB blaster or similar product a day (couple hours at least) before you go to remove. Use hardened proper fitting 6-point sockets on 18" or greater breaker bar to prevent rounding the bolts, will pop the head of the bolt of or break the tools before rounding off the head of the bolt.

well i heated it up to hammer it out and nothing, and both bolts are rounded off so maybe i was thinking i cut the bolt up with a small angle grinder and a small round blade and then it will come out, any thoughts?
also yeah its nice i couldn't start it cause when i put the battery back in my msd ignition fried so i got that in for repair and waiting on that and starting this damn project while i wait which is turning out to be more frustrating than just an "hour long job" ha-ha.
good to hear! pretty nice to have slotted rotors and nice pads all around huh? the only problem i had was that when i went road racing i had brake fade like crazy, it just did not hold up to the heat, but for everything else it was awesome!
