help!!! car pulls to left when i hit the gas
hey guys, i hust bought a 95 honda civic ex. and it pulls to left when i hit the gas. i thought it may be the tires, but they are the same size. so maybe an alignment? not sure just want to get it fixed so i can drive this thing! any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have never heard of torque steer, but would definently have to look out for that on my ride.
From a noobie I would get the alignment checked out first. Also, I had buudy who had a warped rim on the front passenger side and that's made his car do the exact same thing, but again it comes down to getting a proper alignment.

Torque steering is the influence of the engine torque on the steering for some front-wheel drive vehicles. For example, during full acceleration the steering may pull to one side, which may be disturbing to the driver. This either causes a tugging sensation in the steering wheel, or else the car veers from the intended path. As the torque steer effect is directly related to the engine torque capabilities, this problem becomes more and more evident with high output engines with strong torque in the low RPM range.
but yes do get the alignment checked too

Yeah torque steer is very common in fwd vehicles. Thing that sucks is you probably wont be able to get rid of it ever, maybe just chill it out a bit. Good luck
thanx guys, im gonna get the alignment done first and see what that helps. and as far as the torque steer, its a d16, i wouldnt beleive it would be that drastic. im not launching this thing, just easy driving it. ill keep y'all updated.
