The BEST ECU out of the box is a 1992-1993 PR4 or 1994-1995 P75. These ECUs also have the advantage of being able to use the B20 distributer. But they do require rewiring. Most people use the 1990-1991 PR4 since wiring is simpler. But you will produce less power with this ECU AND you need to purchase a 1990-1991 Integra distributer.

i'm drove my car home w/ a CRX Si pm6. NOT recommended. motor threw codes and ran like crap. i put in the 90-91 pr4 the next day along w/ fpr set at 52 psi wot and it runs great. i'm using a b16 distributor as well..only the top bolt lines up :/

Will you still lose power if you use a 90-91 PR4 and same year distributor?

i've heard many say that the 90-91 manifold and electronics are inferior to the 92+obd stuff..i have no comparison though but i'm happy w/ the obd 0 stuff

I have 2 PR4's, a mugen chipped one and a stock...used the chipped one early on but replaced it with a stock to pass smog. Anyway, performance wise, the chipped one is way stronger and can feel it on all gears, especially with the rev limiter and speed limiter out. Only draw back is a little hesitation on low rpm between 1-3K, its doesnt like to be driven lightly...so driving around town sucks. Stock Pr4 runs smoother though, i just hate the rev limiter...

You would lose power because the 1990-1991 PR4 does not supply sufficient fuel in the higher RPMs.

Hey, Stormin' where have you been able to compare the PR4 vs. the P74/75 ECUs?
As you know, I am using the PR4, and just recently got cams and an AEM CAI, and was wondering how much it, the ECU, is hindering me... I have yet to go to the track with these new items tho. I also have a Skunk2 IM to replace my 90-91 peice and will soon hopefully have a comptech MIG welded. Keep up the B20 posts!
