Ok so after the big storm we had and my intake sucked water in my motor.. i have this tapping sound.. it wasnt coming from the intake. so i took the oil pan off.. and i saw that i have a bent rod. now my question is. i know my bearings are still good. can i replace my rod from a d15b motor to a rod from a 16z6 or are they differnt. im not sure how to search for this. please respond back asap. im going to go take the head off now.

 

if i was you..dont reuse the bearings and dont put in 1 rod from a dif motor..you will destroy it. d15 abd d16 are different sizes. get a another d series block they are like $50
