Well my R hasnt been running very well lately.my car was running mad sluggish so i started to DIAG....my timing was off and so we set tht back to TDC and all tht jazz...now i mean it runs ok but not like a R u kno....and even this i can muv my dizzy all the way to front (towards radiator) and it revs slow until about 4 grand...and all the way bac runs well but when VTEC hits it doesnt even move like it used 2 im about all of ideas could it by dizzy maybe...i dont kno..sum 1 plz help..new plugs wires/ fuel filter/ FPR/ and etc so i dunno wat to du....plz help

 

Can you give some more details like the year and mileage? Is it stock or built?

 

Stock...its a 99 and only has 72,000

 

Did you use a timing gun? stock timing is 15-17 BTDC. It would run like **** if you set it to TDC. The Distributor is supposed to move front to back as that is how you adjust timing, but you need a gun.

 

Could be an engine sensor...my car was acting similar and that's what it was

 

well wouldnt CEL come on if it was engine sensor...and so if i set my bottom at TDC what are you suggesting tht i set the top....

 

are you jumping the 2-pin service connector when you adjust the timing? And its a 99 R? CDM?
