hello i just bought an aem cold air intake for a 92-00 honda civic for my em1. i noticed theyre are 3 holes, the first one is for the sensor plug, second hole is for like a valve stem like structure for the tube to go into and then under that is a mysterious 3rd hole? was just wondering what this hole is for, looks just like a regular penny sized hole, heres an example:

notice the hole on top of the valve where the tube fromt he valve cover goes into? on my intake i have one of those holes, except i also have a slot for the sensor plug

Yeah the pictures don't work. If you want, you can check out pics of my SRI and maybe you'll see what the extra holes are for.

I'm pretty sure they are the same... but I could be mistaken too.

 

It's been awhile since I had my AEM CAI, but I think mine came with a plastic plug or something.

I would contact the new owner and let him check, but mine was stolen when they stole my car. Contact has been difficult since then.
