Default Bad Thermostat

I think it's a bad thermostat, the guage is at the "C" almost. What will happen if this is not fixed and be kept driving?

You car will eventually overheat, i just had the same problem. Would stay at cold for a while, then go all the way to Hot and past it when idleing. Just buy a oem one off ebay nad change it yourself. Not too hard, just a little time consuming. You should probably change your coolant anyways so do it at the same time.

is the temperature gauge even moving?
try the thermostat if not could be a bad temperature sensor.

Feel both of your radiator hoses. If both are cool to the touch after the car has been given ample time to warm up (15-20 minutes of idling), then the thermostat is probably stuck open and should be replaced.

If you continue to drive it, you're going to get crap fuel mileage because the car will be running constantly rich in open loop. It's also likely that VTEC won't engage because it isn't seeing the proper coolant temps. The oil and coolant won't be at the proper temperatures for efficient operation and protection.

NO. DO NOT EVER buy an aftermarket thermostat from a chain parts store. They never ever work properly, and will only throw you for a loop by causing more problems.

ONLY use an original Honda thermostat, or a thermostat branded by Honda's suppliers (Fuji Thompson, Nippon Thermostat, and Tama Enterprises).

A Honda thermostat is $23.55 at any Honda dealership - not expensive at all. It's cheap insurance, really.

word, did the same thing last week on a new teg i bought. temp gauge would read really low, and even lower when coasting in neutral down a hill. swapped thermostat, and coolant(obviously) and runs fine. the temp guage reads a little before halfway.
