looks like they just painted them. after you get them and turn on your car pop the hood and a bag of popcorn and watch the paint peel off.

if u paint with good paint engine paint they stay good

 

if you paint with engine paint then it sure as hell will peel. there is different paint for engine use and headers(exhaust) they have different temp ranges. Also depending on if its from a person our a store and condition it can be between 200-600. do a search

 

also if those r pics from the person you are looking at buying the headers from then the paint probably will peel due to it looks like they wur just paint and even if it was the right paint it probably wasnt heat treated meaning when you turn on your car as the headers get hot they expand out causing the paint to crack and peal which is why its hard to get paint to stick. have fun with em

Mint condition, they are only worth $200 tops.

they sell for $300-350 all day. the 97 spec is worth 150-200 but that is a 98+ you have pictured. the paint is completely gay though. that's all stainless steel, why paint it just to watch it all fall off and look worse than before. imo it devalued it slightly since i now would have to spend $10 on paint stripper

 

A real 98 spec ITR 4-1 header is stainless steel. Why would you paint it?
