Default stocks + egay = death

Im looking at buying an ek9. The guy says its dropped on the afore mentioned setup. my question is how long would it take for the shocks to be dead. also once they're dead how much driving would it take to do serious damage to the car? im hoping that its not too serious, and if i end up getting it ill be droppin'em like a bad habbit.

ek9 = type R. Is it actually an R or just a hatch? Shocks wont last long you should plan on replacing fairly quickly.

If you bounce a corner of the car and it makes squeaking noises it could be a bad shock, if you see and fluid leaking out of the shock, if the car bounces more than once or twice after hitting a bump.

If you do buy the car set money aside for a good suspension setup and throw whats on there in the garbage.
