I just got me a b18 with ecu wiring harness and auto trans (i know auto sucks) but i got it for 100 dollars. And only 160k on it. Good deal? Im new to hondas so what is the hp rating on this engine and what numbers could i expect with cam, header, cold air intake, exhaust, port and polish, injectors (maybe), and good plugs and wires?

 

Also its a 95 integra

ah thats still a good deal...take the money u saved, build the motor up maybe get some LS VTEC action going and drop her in an integra, perferably with a manual trans such as a b16 tranny or gsr tranny

yea just keep it ls, alot cheaper put some p30 pistons in and cams. cam gear and all that jazz, vtec isnt all that great, on a properly tuned car you shouldnt hear or feel vtec, but if you do it means you have a huge dip in your power band and your car was bogging beforre VTEC lol so good luck

 

stock numbers are rated at about 140 to the crank and maybe 120 whp. Well if you are planning to build this motor and stay non vtec, i'd say you'd hit the WHP range of 160-170? no problem.

some1 should get banned for a week for this blasphemy. jk. i have never been in a stock honda with vtec or a tuned honda in which you couldnt distinctively hear/feel when the car goes into vtec but yes a honda without vtec can make pretty good power.

 

Good deal on the ECU and harness, you can use the tranny as a door stop.
