Car making screeching noise!
Hopefully some of you can help me out, or give me an idea of possibilities. Lately my car has been making some sort of loud screeching/squealing noise when I'm driving. The sound doesn't happen when I brake. Just casually driving (freeway, streets, etc...). Comes and goes, usually on hot days and/or long drives. I believe the sound is coming from the passenger rear-side of the car. I thought it was possibly a wheel bearing, and had that replaced. Unfortunately, the sound is still there, and it can get really loud at times.
Any ideas/experiences with this problem?

My brothers truck currently makes the most annoying screeching noise while driving. As soon as you hit the brakes, the noise goes away.
The culprit of the noise on his truck is a slightly frozen caliper. So you might want to check that

Also if you are running discs in the rear, check the brake shield, its that shield lookin thing that surrounds the rotor so crap doesnt get kicked up onto the rotor. My buddies pathfinder had this issue for quite a while but simple fix
