Default Hopped a curb.

So, today was my best friend's going away party, and I ended up getting much drunker than I thought I would. So, for the first time since owning my Prelude (4 years), I let someone else drive my car. Lucky me, my friend hopped a curb slightly when making a u-turn. It wasn't a full curb... it was like a semi-curb that they have to separate the lightrail system from the street...

Anyway, now my car is behaving very oddly. It idles really hard, and when driving it revs strangely. When shifting gears, when you push in the clutch, rather than the RPMs dropping they initially increase and then fall down. Also, when going on a constant speed the car sounds rougher and vibrates heavily, but when accelerating it feels like it always has. Slowing down and constant speed feel completely wrong though. Other than the extremely rough idle (that vibrates all the panels), the car seems to drive well. There are no leaks of any sort.

Any ideas as to what the heck happened to my baby?!?!

When your friend hopped this curb, which tire and what part of the car scrapped.....front left, front right, one of the back tires, or a combination?

You might have a new vacuum leak, but it's hard to say. Do you still have the stock intake hooked up with the vacuum box down by the fender?

We were doing a U-turn and I wasn't driving.... so I'm not 100% sure. I'm assuming it was the front left part of the car though. I honestly have no idea how far we went over it (I was a wee bit intoxicated haha).

And Hawkze, no I don't have the stock intake. I have a short ram at the moment because of monsoon.

Like Hawkze suggested I would look for vacuum leaks first based on the symptoms you described. Also jack the car up and look for damage.

Okay sorry for sounding newbish but how to I check for vacuum leaks? I know the tubes higher up in the engine bay but are you saying there are lines near the underbody? I just check by hand eh?
