Default Camber Kit Question...???

I bought Type R suspensions(shocks and springs)..and want to upgrade my front camber kits from my old factory ones. I noticed that aftermarket cambers(Skunk 2, Omni Powers, etc...) are more for dropped/lowered rides.

Would aftermarket front cambers really matter or affect the ride, even with Type R shocks/springs???...or should i just get OEM cambers instead???

it shouldn't matter if it's type r or not, camber kits are to correct negative camber and it's you're not lowering your car, you're not messing with the camber. you'll probably need an alignment but that's about it.

good luck

Camber kits are adjustable. So if you lower your car 1'', you will need less correction than lowering your car 3''. They're adjustable for that reason. Not everyone will buy the same suspension at the same settings.

Your car does not come with a factory camber kit if it's a 88-00 civic or any year USDM integra, IIRC.

But...think about this. The ITR comes from the factory with ITR springs/shocks and the same other suspension arms as you have on your DC2/4.

You don't need a camber kit. Just align your car to ITR specs. Toe is what's going to eat up tires anyway. Fix your toe after installing and breaking in the springs (if they're new).

Make sure you clock your bushings to minimize squash and adjustment time....and to save your bushings.

My old OEM front upper arms' bushings squeak like hell, and my current cheap@$$ aftermarket OE replacement upper arms also squeak like hell and they're only 2 years old. The ball joints also pop when turning the wheels.

I have new genuine OEM front upper arms w/ new bushings that will be going on this weekend, so hopefully no more squeaking.

And OP you most definitely will not need any type of camber kit. Also, there's no such thing as "cambers".
