Default Aftermarket shocks???

I was looking to replace my stock shocks with aftermarket ones.
My whole suspesnion setup is stock so would it be possible to put aftermarket shocks on a stock suspension setup?

Which ones would be good to buy?
I dont want something too expensive but with good ride quality and performance.

Thanks

It's not ideal - since aftermarket "racing" shocks are more stiff and have a shorter stroke. The wouldnt be a match for the stock springs.

Now, you could go with something like the KYB GR2's, which are only slightly more agresstive than stock but are intended to be a OEM replacement.
