Re: Drop question????? (Irishweird00)
The only thing you'll notice when lowering with stock shocks is that the ride may be more rough than if you upgrade the shocks. stock shocks are made for stock height, therefore, perform the best at stock height. only dropping 1.5", your ride won't be too bad, but also, your stock shocks will wear faster because of the increased stress. if you don't have the funds to upgrade to a "performance" shock right now and you can afford or bare to do the job twice, go ahead and drop that baby

there s a good reason why new shock s be install d along with performance springs..performance shock s will compliment the stiffer springs cuz they rebound quicker that stock ..most aftermarket companies make adjustable shock s so u can fine tune ur ride..
ill say to get shocks and springs install d the same time..if ur doing it urself, it can be a real pain in the *** having to redo it all over again at a later date..not to mention the mess ull have to deal with after a few months..if ur having a shop do it..consider the cost of 2 install s instead of one

Re: Drop question????? (layZ)
Ive heard alot of ppl saying that the stock stocks will go bad with a dropped car? ive never understood these comments. The reason why i dont understand these comments is beacause on the last 3 cars ive owned ive ran them with stock shock no problems. A 1.5in drop isnt anything to worry about I was running somewhere in the 2.5 to 3in drop with stock shock no problems.
