I am wondering if you need to have any special things for an msd ignition? for example a certain number of horsepower, etc. and is it worth it for a lightly modified daily driver? I looked at these when I first got my car but never did it because I know that hondas have a weak internal coil but I didnt know if it was worth because I just have a daily driver that I try to mod as I go but some people have told me that it is pointless for a daily driver but ive heard that with other things and it really wasnt pointless just wondering what you guys think?

Waste of money unless you're making a LOT of power.

 

Their coils do not last long being daily driven. Honestly, my car ran a wee bit better after I got sick of replacing $120(or whatever they cost) blaster hvc coils every two years or so and went back to stock.

Get some brand new wires, cap, and rotor from Honda and put the rest toward engine management(Hondata or Chrome or whatevs).
