91 accord manifold removal

Remove main heat shield with 3 bolts. There are couple of little heat sheils by the alternator, remove those too because they will prevent you from getting a socket in there. Spray all bolts with WD40 and off you go.

oh well...ain't my car!If I end up replacing the a-pipe too, does the front crossmember need to come out?

hopefully you wont need to pull the A-pipe, as the bolts to teh catalytic converter get rusted bad and are hell to remove...much worse than the ones that hold the manifold to the A-pipe.
